WHO WE ARE

The MCZF is a ministry of the British & Irish Methodist Church to the immigrant community in the UK/IRE which has close links to the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe. The group was officially inaugurated by the then Presiding Bishop, the Reverend Cephas Z. Mukandi in 2003. The Fellowship has since grown into a body made up of 30 branches in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Aims of the fellowship

v The Fellowship works to encourage members to participate in all aspects of their local churches and the Fellowship.

v To create and maintain cultural awareness of traditional Zimbabwean Methodist Church styles of worship and to participate in relevant group activities. (Ruwadzano, Men’s Christian Union, Girl’s Christian Union, Boy’s Christian Union, and Methodist Young Disciples).

v Welcoming all Zimbabweans who are seeking to express their faith in their language and culture even as they learn to adapt to the culture they are presently.
