Homeless Ministry

Every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening volunteers arrive in DCM.  There is a scurry of activity as the bags are prepared to include tea, soup, sandwiches, chocolate bars, fruits, jumpers, and some socks and gloves. When everything is prepared everyone gathers for a prayer and then our teams go out in groups of at least 3 to offer love and encouragement and provisions to those who are on the streets.

Our homeless ministry is now into it's seventh year and we thank God for His protection and provision of volunteers and the support we receive both in prayer, provisions and financially which makes it all possible. We provide ongoing training to our volunteers and we are encouraged to see our volunteers not only caring for those on the streets but also supporting one another.

If you would like to find out more about what we are doing and provide support in any way contact Gillian on  gillian.stephens@dcmiss.ie.
